My volunteer work

I finally finish my volunteer work 1 at Nanjing Foreign Language Library. I learn I should be more carefully to do my work. Everyday, I go to the library at about 10 a.m . Then, I arrange all the books : make the same family books together , and help some readers to look for some books what suitable for them or their children. That is a good job because it can help others and give people a warm , harmonious and satisfied feeling. It can also show my helpful to others . I Will not forget this experience . How meaningful!!!!Of course , I can read some books when I am free. That is really kill two birds with one stone . Ha Ha!!!!!!!!I think this job can help me to make a good conversation with others. I love this job very much!!!I want to state again: I will not forget this experience forever!!!!I have another volunteer job to do, I would like some money, so maybe I should go to a restaurant to be a cleaner or waitress. Funny!Funny! Funny! Happy !!Happy !! Happy!!Ha Ha!!!

However, I changed my mind later, so was a saleswoman instead of being a waitress, I waorked for Nanjing Nasidake English trainning school, my duty was to let people who want to learn English fill in an intivation card, I must finish 30 cards every day in 5 hours in Xinjiekou. This job seemed to be easy , but in fact , it was very difficult, many people did not listen to me, even a woman said to her friend: " How bad the school is!!The only skill that the school has is use young girl to cheat us!" I had nothing to say, but just go away from them. The tow lucky things were: I was the youngest salewoman there, so some people in Xinjiekou were willing to help me to fill in cards(although they do not want to learn English ), and there was a Grade 12 girl from for Nanjing Nasidake English school by being a salewoman, so she told me a lot of skills of this kind of job. I became success very quickly.I know that I must watch people more carefully and quickly before let them fill in cards, this watch including their age, manner, and the speed of their walking, It seemd to be solving Math problems: do not think of the answer first , but think of the step and the way first, I found that Math and lifeare closely bound up with each other. Of course, I understand that the only way to make strangers be interted in me is: I must talk to them first ,and I must use words concise and comprehensive , because if introduce the school to them first, it will spend a long time, so people would feel impatient of me, but if I just ask whether they want to fill in an invation card, they might help me. I finally understand that the less words you say, the more success you are. That was anthor good exprecience for me, not only good for my study, but also good for how to associate with people, especially with strangers.

I went to an exhibition about Wu weishan sculpture .These artworks were very cont e . The most interesting artwork was YangZhen ning. It was made in 2001.It is a bust , white. It was made of white marble, very vivid.The lines are not very clear. The subject is YangZhen ning.I saw Yang Zhen ning, s brave expression. The arkwork is almost 2m.It can help improve strict. It realates to my Science class,Yang Zhenning is a famous scientistic, he is very strict and careful. That is very important for us to learn Science. I think the artist,s intention is to tell us to be strict to do everything. I like the artwork, because I like it.YangZHEN NING,S ver y profound, make feel his careful. . My classmates like it,too.They all said it was interesting.

Western restaurant

  Today ,my classmates and i go to a french restaurant for our planning project.It was my first time to go to a French restaurant, so when I enter ed the door, I felt very excited! I also found there is was a lot of Chinese elements there, I even distrusted couldn’t believe if it is was a French restaurant. However, when I see saw some knives and forks, I changed my mind.French food is particular about order and tableware.
• The first thing we ate vegetable saled salad, the watress waitress told us that all the vegetables were ferried imported from French. Jam jam is was different from Chinese jam, but very delicious!! As we changed food, we will would change a knife, .The second food dishis was soup and bread. The soup was concocted by pumpkin juice, milk, salt and sugar, The the bread is was too hard to chew , so we must put it into the soup, so funny!!!!!!!!! The third food was staple food, it was chicken and duck.. This food is was baked by electric oven and added was flavored by some seasoning which I don't know. It tasted aromatic. I enjoyed eating it very much.Ha Ha!!! The only regret was that the amount was too little. The last thing dish ate had is sweetmeats the dessert, that which was an apple pie. It was quite different from MacDonald’s pie. It was not look like a Chinese pasty, it was did not have stuffings , some pieces of apple were just on the surface, fantastic!!!!! We just had the most simple food in the restaurant, because the boss owner of this restaurant is my classmate’s mouther mother, so we iust paid 50 yuan for each each of us just had to pay 50 yuan. Otherwise otherwise, we would pay 300 yuan. Crazy,ha ha!!!!!
