Zhao Bing is a very famous artist. He designed Su Zhou garden, Fu Ji Temple, and gave a lot of people suggestions about how to make their home more beautiful.
Su Zhou garden is very beautiful, that is Chinese classical garden. They were built in Ming and Qing dynasty by some feudal noble . They built gardens to make themselves fun, and that is a good place for them to have a good relax.So the gardens they built including Chinese culture . It has a long history. That is people fruit of wisdom. I admire the people who built these gardens very much. I love Su Zhou gardens very much, too. However,I do not like Zhao Bing ,s speech very well last Monday, because he just treated us like university students, just told us the things about theory . He do not know we like interesting things, he should make some history stories about gardens and some important theories together. In fact, I fall asleep when he is talking to us. However, from his speech, I know there 4 kinds of gardens :imperial gardens, owning gardens , temple gardens and landscapes gardens. Each kind of garden has each style, but they all have beautiful history culture, they are all our Chinese people ,s pride. I love these very much. There 2 different meanings about gardens in China and in Western countries: in China , it means a space very perfect and natural ,has trees and water,in Western countries, it means an ideal place with plants . However, in today, most people think the meaning of garden is a place with plants based on beauty for people to live in. Although the speech is very boring , I learn something about garden. Happy gardens! Therefore, garden represent a specific Chinese culture, that is our ancestor give us happiness. Thank Zhao Bing for giving us a speech , thank our ancestor building these beautiful gardens. Although the speech is very boring , I learned something about gardens and realize our nation spirit is very great. That is also a good education in patriotism for us, too, I think .
